Beehouse Butter Dishes in an assortment of colors
How well your butter fits the butter dish will depend on the brand of butter you use.
The inside ridge that is under the lid will hold a butter stick that is 4 inches long x 1-5/8 inches wide. The lid fits on the outside of the ridge and will cover a stick that is 4-1/4 inches long x 1-78 inches wide x 1-3/4 inches high. If the butter you use is longer than 4 inches in length, you may have to remove a small amount from the end of the stick.
